Closing Today at Shelbyville Branch

Due to a continued lack of heat, plus a lack of handicap-accessible doors, the Shelbyville Branch is closing today, Wednesday, Jan. 17, at noon.

Until then, the Morristown Branch is open and warm! If you would like a cozy place to read, head to Morristown, 127 E. Main St.

The warming shelter at the Shelby County Fairgrounds remains open at this time. The shelter will be open 24 hours a day until further notice. If you know anyone who could benefit from the shelter please let them know it is open.

Thank for understanding at this difficult time. Stay warm and safe out there!
