SongFarmers of America (@Shelbyville) Rain Date

Today is the RAIN Date for the SongFarmers of America fun night of acoustic Front Porch music on the Outdoor Plaza of the Shelby County Public Library.

If Monday’s performance is rained out, SongFarmers of America will try again to repeat their popular appearance in our Performing Arts Series on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 7 pm. Enjoy their music in the open air on the Plaza. Bring your own acoustic or wind instruments and play and sing along!

Bring the family with snacks and drinks to enjoy this fun family night. The library will have a few tables and plenty of chairs. Bring your own lawn chairs if you would rather make this a comfy, camping experience!

Carson Diersing (@Shelbyville Plaza)

Come to the Shelbyville Library to enjoy Carson Diersing’s music in the Outdoor Plaza. Diersing is a folks and blues singer/songwriter who specializes in harmonica and guitar. This Indianapolis native has made waves in the blues community and is featured by Hohner Harmonicas’ Red Dragon box cover skateboarding, his other passion. Carson is one of the founders of Shelbyville Skateboarding Association.

The Library Toasts the Arts (@Shelbyville)

The kickoff to the library’s annual Performing Arts Series starts at 6 pm. Tickets are required for this adults-only event. Scot Shrader will perform as patrons and donors mingle and munch on charcuterie and cheese. Wine and other drinks are available at the bar, a cleverly disguised circulation desk! All patrons will be carded; one complimentary drink comes with each ticket.

Tickets are available through Facebook and Instagram, Eventbrite, and inside the Broadway Street library.

Library Toasts the Arts

Tickets now on sale!

The library’s Performing Arts Series kicks off on April 28 at 6 pm with the musical stylings of Scot Shrader as guests enjoy charcuterie boards and drinks.

Tickets are available now: $40 per ticket or $75 for a couple. This is an adult event; you must be 18 or older to attend.
