In honor of D.E.A.R. Day (Drop Everything And Read) and National Poetry Month, gather in the Shelbyville Branch’s meeting room to recite lyrics as spoken word poems — without breaking into song. (Sorry, no berets or drums to create a hippie cafe!)

Really, songs are poems and deserve to be treated as lovingly as poems! We will start at 6 pm in the main library’s meeting room.
